It is carried out during the procurement, delivery of iron ore pellets to warehouses or to the port, or during removal from the warehouses.

The CISS GROUP inspector will visually assess the condition of the premises for the suitability for cargo storage; check the presence of labels with markings, compliance of the cargo with the information indicated on the marking label; will check the weight of the incoming / unloaded cargo, take samples.

Acceptance of cleanliness containers / holds of vessels before loading iron ore pellets.

This is a visual inspection of containers and empty holds for their cleanliness and suitability for iron ore pellets transportation. The inspector carefully examines their internal surfaces, checks the integrity and condition of locks, hinges and other fasteners on the container doors, rubber seals for container doors and hold covers.

Visual control of the loading process and sampling of iron ore pellets.

During loading, the inspector controls the loading of iron ore pellets, confirms the gross / net weight during re-weighing; in the case of loading iron ore pellets into the holds - the initial, intermediate and final check of the weight of the loaded cargo by the draft survey method, controls the fumigation process; conducts a visual assessment of the quality of the cargo, takes samples in accordance with sampling rules, forms composite samples. At the end of the loading, the inspector will seal the loaded containers or holds. He enters all the data into reports to which the client gets direct access. Laboratory analyzes of iron ore pellets quality.

We check the quality of iron ore pellets exclusively in accredited laboratories in accordance with the requirements of agreed per contract international standards.

In laboratory conditions, the pellets are tested for strength, the degree of which is directly assessed by the strength in crushing tests and the yield of fines (0.5-0.6 mm) after the abrasion test in a drum.

Chemical analyzes are studies for the content of iron, sulfur, phosphorus.

The basicity index is also determined, which shows the ratio of the masses of basic oxides to acidic oxides, the content of harmful impurities and fines.

Photo and video report.

The inspector records each stage of the inspection with photos and videos. All such data contain the date and time of recorded stage of inspection. At the end of the iron ore pellets inspection, CISS GROUP provides a detailed photo report of all stages of control and inspection.
